They’ve all buggered off. Two sessions, not one touch. The water has come up to the top of the bank and is pulling hard in the middle. Tried the fast bits and the slack bits. Not a sausage. Not much rain forecast over the next few days so maybe the level will start to fall and the blighters will return. Even my fishing buddy Eddie was looking disconsolate:
At least there was little wind, so I could prop the rod up on a single rest to keep as little line as possible in the water:
